What you'll do:

Job Description: Social Media Content Creator
Job Summary:
The Social Media Content Creator is a vital new role at PRMR Inc., responsible for developing, capturing, editing, and publishing compelling visual and written content across all client social media platforms. This individual will translate client PR strategies into engaging social narratives, manage online communities, and contribute to the overall digital presence and success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation & Capture (Visual & Written):
- Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality photographs and short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, Stories, short explainers) for various social media platforms. This includes on-location shoots as required by client campaigns.
- Write engaging, platform-specific copy for social media posts, headlines, captions, and calls to action.
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to ensure visual consistency and leverage their expertise for more complex graphic needs.
- Work with the Agency Writer to adapt longer-form content into bite-sized, social-friendly formats.
- Stay current with emerging social media trends, formats, and best practices to continually innovate content.
2. Social Media Management & Execution:
- Develop and maintain social media content calendars in alignment with client PR strategies and campaign goals.
- Schedule and publish content across all designated social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube).
- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, engaging with the community in a timely and professional manner, reflecting client brand voice.
- Identify opportunities for real-time content creation and engagement based on current events or client activities.
3. Strategy, Analysis & Reporting:
- Contribute to the development of social media strategies for clients, identifying target audiences, content themes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics using native analytics and reporting tools.
- Prepare regular social media performance reports for internal review and client presentations, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing content performance and engagement.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the PR Professional, Graphic Designer, and Agency Writer to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns across all channels.
- Participate in client brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to offer social media insights and creative ideas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in social media content creation and management, preferably within an agency setting or a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable portfolio of high-quality visual content (photography, videography) and compelling social media writing.
- Proficiency in capturing and editing photos and videos, primarily using mobile devices and desktop software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, basic Adobe Creative Suite skills are a plus).
- In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms, including their unique features, audience demographics, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar, tone, and brand voice.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and digital trends.
